I have a proposal.
We've got no shortage of over-brained boffins on AFP. So how about we
set them to work on solving the world's medical problems?
I don't know about you, but I'd quite like to bring AFP down to below an
80% obituary ratio...
Bloody hell, there are a lot of people hopping the twig these days...

I believe some afpers are doing their best at doing just that.
Anyway, don't forget all the technical, culinary, philosophical, literary
and theatrical problems. We've got people working on all of those, and
more.

So that's why you're posting so much! Trying to drown out the obits, are
you?

"His favoured means of transport was the bicycle and his preferred
means of communication the sticky label."
Danny Baker was playing him on BBC London yesterday. Good stuff.

Many people would think that modest and indecent are the same after reading

There are a few people who enhance the times we live in; Jake T, John P,
Ivor C, Kirsty McC, Ray Gosling
We often do not appreciate quite how much they mean to us until it is too
late. So gie us the gift of identifying the true value in those we know
afore it's too late.

There are a large number of people who enhance the times we live in.
Some of them are here, some of them are not here, some of them are gone.
Some of them do so though music, though writing, through wisdom and
though song.
Some of them live, all of them will die and leave us with nothing but
the works that they left to enrich us, and the sorrow of the works they
never made.
